Our story

Collinsville Faith in Action® serves residents of Caseyville, Collinsville, Maryville, and State Park who need assistance due to age or disability. There is no charge for services provided.

The mission of Collinsville Faith in Action® is to reach out and serve one another as friends and neighbors of a united faith community, to ease loneliness and isolation, and to make a difference in the lives of others. We have done this since 1998 by matching screened volunteer caregivers from the local faith community with requests from seniors and others with disabilities. Care receivers need not belong to any church.

Collinsville Faith in Action® offers:

Volunteer Caregivers (344-8080)

Transportation to medical appointments, shopping, etc.

Shopping and errands

Companionship calls and visits

Respite for family caregivers

Seasonal yard maintenance

Minor home repair

Volunteer Caregivers

Three to seven days’ notice is needed, depending on the nature of the request. You do NOT need to belong to a church or other faith community to receive services.

Call Lori at 618-344-8080 to register to receive services or volunteer to provide services. (Volunteer caregivers must agree to participate in a brief orientation, authorize a police check and driving record report, and provide proof of auto liability insurance.)
